Strategy & Transformation Manager

What are you going to do?

In this role you will play a key role in supporting and executing on our insights-led, strategic transformation journey. Mediq Norway and Sweden were recently combined into a joint business unit to accelerate our strategy and enable sustainable healthcare to our customers. Being part of the newly established Strategy & Transformation team means you’ll be involved in a variety of exciting and high-priority projects across business areas and functions. You will get an excellent opportunity to develop and improve your generalist toolbox, with high exposure to senior leadership and the possibility to deepen your expertise in one or more business areas or functions as we progress along the transformation journey.

Your primary tasks will therefore be to:

  • drive/support our strategic transformation program,
  • facilitate and lead strategic projects or complex problem solving cases across Mediq Norway and Sweden,
  • perform deep analysis and develop insights for decision-making for top management,
  • develop material for senior management and Executive Committee meetings.

What is your background?

  • completed bachelor’s, preferably Master’s level degree, in business, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields,
  • 3-7 years of experience, preferably 1-3 years from a top-tier consulting firm or in-house consulting, 
  • alternatively, having worked in MedTech, Wholesale, Retail or Distribution of medical goods or pharmaceuticals in a business development function / strategy role,
  • good problem-solving toolbox that enables you to systematically break down complex problems, come up with creative solutions, and translate it to an action plan to drive forward,
  • great communication and interpersonal skills – from building presentations with a clear and well-reasoned storyline, to presenting these to senior management in a convincing fashion,
  • strong time and project management skills with great attention to detail,
  • a proactive and collaborative can-do mentality,
  • fluency in English is required – a Scandinavian language is a strong plus but not a requirement.
