Senior Business Controller

The Senior Business Controller reports directly to the Finance Director and will work for the Nordics business of Mediq, supported by the Business Service Center of Mediq in Vilnius.

Being at the heart of the Finance organization of Mediq Nordics, the business controller has a key role in the transformation process to increase operation effectiveness and profitability.

Further tasks and responsibilities include:

• Plan, perform and improve the performance cycle including the budget process, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting
• Drive P&L improvement through data-driven performance analysis which leads to new initiative implementation.
• Review financial information and key financial ratios, conduct cause analyses and propose possible correction measures
• Manage the cash flow of the company, developing and updating liquidity forecasts
• Finance representation in various projects, aimed at increasing profitability and/or operational effectiveness
• Involvement in potential acquisitions and/or divestments

• University degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Economics
• 10+ years of experience in an analytical Finance role required
• Excellent skills in MS Office (Powerpoint and Excel) and experience with BI tools (e.g. MS PowerBI). Preferably experience with IFS.
• Proven capability in facilitating corporate transformation and managing complex stakeholder environments
• Ability to oversee complex crossfunctional processes and make clear recommendations to the management team
• Functional competencies as financial planning, modelling and accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven strategic mindset
• Strong leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills (Swedish and English, Norwegian is a pre)
